It is the only quality place around that takes insurance, hence the huge waiting lists. We took him to a clinical psych who had a lot of experience in AS and he explained what social skills training was, told us it should be the foundation of any intervention program we did, should be long-term, wasn't optional, to put our foot down with our son if he objected, --so that was where we started.
