Guest guest
I am opening a website next month , God Willing, with a complete line of sensory clothing for kids and adults, with a focus on small stuff such as underwear, socks and tights, and other accessories. Do you guys have a long list of must have favorites to share with me? We are in the process of accumulating inventory. Thanks!
Guest guest
Hello, My 6 yr.old A.S. son has a very low tolerance for loose fitting clothes, but I don't like to see him in really tight fitting clothes either!! He has had a very good appetite lately and is getting a tummy. I have a hard time finding clothes to fit his waist but that aren't a mile long!! I am not the best seamstress to hem his pants!! Any suggestions? Thanks, Irene > > I am opening a website next month , God Willing, with a complete line of sensory clothing for kids and adults, with a focus on small stuff such as underwear, socks and tights, and other accessories. > > Do you guys have a long list of must have favorites to share with me? Guest guest
Stride Rite comfort seam socks most underwear and t-shirts have tags printed in the back so I'm not sure which ones would be best. I'm trying to find underwear that has the waist band completely covered because my son always pulls the elastic out. He says it starts to come out and tickles him. I've seen mens underwear like this but I'm not sure anyone makes it for boys. Last year we started buying uv protection clothing because my son hates sunscreen so I'd love to see some of that on your website. Guest guest
Hi Miriam, I'm Irene Burns from New Mexico and am new to this group. My 6 year old A.S. son only wears the boxer briefs, have you tried those yet? Guest guest
You might connect with an OT. There are a variety of activities you can do to give him that "Huggy" feeling. Maybe if he did that, he would be more open to looser clothing? An OT might be able to help you sort it out. Guest guest
Fabulous idea. I spent many fruitless hours searching for socks without seams for my now 13 y.o. son. They had to be grey, as it was his school uniform. I ended up dyeing sports sox! His toleranace has improved in the past couple of years and the uniform is also behind us. So it is not such an issue now. Good luck with the business. Guest guest
My son has issues with socks...seams, too tight...he likes them soft ... Underwear....he hates them tight ...he wears a soft cotton boxer like underwears ...the only thing is he is getting too big as I have to buy the XL in the boys dept. and I have not seen them in the men's dept. Undershirts/teeshirts ...NO TAGS. Just a few suggestions from me. Guest guest
Good Morning Miriam, The boxer briefs are a little more snug than regular boxers. They are "half Boxer, Half brief" !!! Guest guest
I'll have to check them out. Any particular brand that you would recommend? Hanes, Jockey, Fruit of the Loom, BVD? FOTL briefs seems to have the elastic issues more than the others. > > From: Miriam <callis4773@...> > Subject: ( ) Re: Sensory Clothing > > Date: Saturday, May 16, 2009, 7:16 AM > > > We've never been able to get him to wear boxers. > Miriam > > >
