Prayers & Hugs Rose From: Sherry Burford <aspiemomone@...>SUPPORT GROUP <Aspergers Treatment >Sent: Thursday, May 21, 2009 8:08:22 AMSubject: ( ) need a laugh i just wanted to thank all you for the little funny story, i need a laugh, my son 11 AS has started having seizures, this is a most frightening thing to witness, started meds yesterday for this, but the neurologist says that some meds they prescribe for AS can cause seizures so thank god that joshua is not taking any current meds to control symptoms for adhd and aspergers. i just recently found out that the seizures can be a comorbid condition for as kids, doesnt mean all will get them just that a percentage do, scary thought i know, here you feel you have so much to already cope with and he has asthma too, poor guy says to me last night as he lay in bed why do i have to get all the problems, i dont want this i wish i didnt have to be like this, i said like what he said you know asthma, and other things, i try to let him know its okay because despite some of the ongoing behavior issues he is a absolute loveable kid, he has a way a tugging on heart strings, please keep us in your thoughts, he cant climbe or play on monkeybars at school or slide or swing or jump on our trampoline until further notice, he is all boy and it is near impossible to keep him on the ground this poses a whole other battle. sherry Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
