Hi Bridgette, my daughter is 11 and loves animals and nature. She actually

joined a group called BunnyChitChat isn't that funny?

I live in NJ but I lived most of my life in the NW suburbs. I lived in Des

Plaines and then Naperville before we moved to NJ. My family is still living in

the area so we do visit.

email address on . My daughter would love a penpal. She loves all animals

but she has a dog, a bunny, a guinne pig, mice, betta fish and she wants to get

more.

She also likes to push the bunny around in a baby carriage at the park. It was

so cute.

Oh what a great name! Let's call it the natureclub.

And they can write each other about there pets or interests in nature.

If you email on your daughter's name and the

email address I'll have my daughter respond with her

email address and a short note.

GREAT - pleased to have found a couple of girls with AS and with similar

interests to my daughter :-)

Actually, I was planning on setting up a kids web log (I am running a Kids

Communicate Group for kids with AS

www.meetup.com/Kids-Communicate/ and we are focusing on verbal and written

communication. ) I just need to make sure it's secure, private and safe! So,

once I have that set up, I'll let you know - maybe a few kids with AS who love

animals and nature will communicate on that? May be a better social networking

thing that email? What do you think?

OK - here's a start... I'm still working through this - I have to pay $10 a

month for this and am not sure how it all works, but just wanted to let you see

OK, so it's 10:40pm and I should be packing... so this will be a quick email.

I am running a group for kids with AS (3rd - 6th grade) and we will be focusing

on verbal and written communication. I am going to set this up online for AS

kids and hopefully make it topic specific ... then maybe we can open it up to NT

kids who can help with some modeling of language and interaction ONLINE :-)

Sounds like it will work !!!!
