Guest guest
Thought I'd post my top 3 helps and see if you all have any to add. I'm ALWAYS looking for things to help us! Please tag on any suggestions you have! 1- Finding an awesome OT who was Sensory Integration Praxis Test certified (our guy has MAJOR sensory issues in EVERY sensory area) 2- Using a visual schedule at home www.cuddlebugkids.com (started selling them since I couldn't find one when I needed it!) 3- Using a weighted blanket at night, lap blanket for meals Ok, so I'll add 2 more... 4- Making custom social stories to prepare for events and to teach social protocols (has REALLY helped in school and when I had surgery a few months ago) 5- Reading lots of books and bios about Aspergers (has really helped me understand more how our little guy navigates the world) www.cuddlebugkids.com
