Guest guest
Hi! Could use your advice again My school refusal daughter is now in week 4. All that awful anxiety, OCD stuff, hand biting behaviors I was writing about are gone. No surprise I quess but such a relief. Now we are going to try some after after school instruction that the school will provide. I am quessing the school is going to offer a self contained classroom. For next year to reduce her stress and being overwhelmed. What do you think for a girl with above average reasoning and verbal skills in a room with a few kids with below average reasoning skills? Another idea is to shorten her day every day but stay mainstreamed? School is such a pressure cooker for her. I wish we could homeschool but she won't do much work her at home.
