Guest guest
Hi, what's your name (I'm assuming it's not hugeflirt28)? There is a good group called Parents of Little People (POLP) on . I would sign up for that group, they have some great advice there. Is your son diagnosed with dwarfism? If so, just explain in to him as simply and clearly as possible. Tell him that some people are born short and don't grow as big as others. But it doesn't mean he can't be anything he wants to be, as long as he puts his mind to it. As he grows older, the questions will become more complex, but for now, keep it simple but honest. Hope this helps, Bill Bradford On 5/6/06, hugeflirt28 <hugeflirt28@...> wrote: > > My son is 7 1/2 years old and smaller than my 5 year old who is also > short. Guest guest
He is 17, and in the 11th grade. We kept him back in kindergarden, had we known that he had Aspergers we wouldn't have. It didn't help him anyway. We just thought he wasn't ready for the 1st grade. We didn't find out until he was in the 3rd grade, the school had never dealt with this, and he didn't get the best schooling he should have. I had to fight for what he did get while fighting depression too, was a nightmare. Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
