Okay ladies, I don’t know who to share it with so here goes. My son was approved for 5 P3’s (tutoring) and I couldn’t find a tutor. One day, I found someone, but at the same day I also found a social skills group, a phenomenal group and they had a slot! The trouble is the group would use 4 P3’s, and the tutor wanted the full 5 days commitment. So I fought. I fought better than any advocate was able to. I wrote a lengthy letter, had a hearing, TODAY just now, this morning, I got approved for 10 X 60 P3’s. If you don’t know what kind of victory this is, then I cannot explain myself more. It’s equivalent to getting 10 x 60 of OT for a child… also unheard of.
