My son has an intense fear of dogs. One came up behind him in our backyard a few years ago and scared him silly. He is on medication for anxiety and it seems to have helped him a bit with his fears. We have a next door neighbor with a St. Bernard and he is a big baby. My husband and I always go over and give him pets.
