Thank you - thank you - thank you! Your support of the very first

Edmtonton Capital Region Walk Now for Autism resulted in hundreds and

hundreds of people coming together at Lions Park and raising $153,626!

Without each of you, this would not have been possible, and for that,

we thank you. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of

so many. Thank you to our amazing Community Supporters, Volunteers,

Team Captains and s for making this event possible!

It will take about 4 weeks to see your Walk Day donations processed.

Tax receipts will be mailed out shortly after and plans for our

Awards and Celebration event will be emailed to everyone very soon.

Please send copies of your photos to us by email or on CD to the

office so that we can incorporate them into our event slide show. And

please hold on to those incredible Team Tshirts as we would like to

make a quilt featuring as many as possible to commemorate this

fantastic first year event. More information on our Walk Quilt will

be sent to you.

Thank you Alberta! We will never forget the incredible day we had

yesterday.

If any of you have relatives or friends in the Greater Vancouver

area, make sure they know of our upcoming BC Walk/Run on October 19.

It's Not Too Late to Fund Raise!

Please continue to collect and mail in donations and watch your team

totals grow! Tell your friends, family and work colleagues what an

incredible day we had! Your walk sites are sill open to receive

credit card donations on-line as well.

Donations received by mid-October will be counted toward your

incentive prize totals. Reminder: You can download and fill out

the " Offline Donation Form " from your personal web page when sending
