Looking for books/publications

Hello,

I am searching for any books or pubs on HFA or AS. I need things that will

clearly describe it to those who only think of classical autism and insist my

son does not have autism, like both his grandmas who we are visiting both this

weekend and I am not looking forward to having to try to explain every little

thing all over again. Two days in a row.

None of the ASD books I have, or even 2 of the AS ones I have will work. They

all go into great detail on the classic symptoms with little blurbs about how

some people will be milder than others. They will not see my son in the

descriptions, etc.

Believe me, I have tried to explain things to them over and over again. It is

not sinking in. Kinda like dealing with the schools They like to insinuate

that his delays are my fault and I am making excuses.

Even just a freebie pamplet off a website or something would be ok, please

direct me to anything that can help.
