Functional Behavioral Assessment

Hi,

DS (10)AS, has had an IEP for about a year and we have had quarterly

review meetings. The next one is coming up in two weeks and the letter

says " consider the need for a functional behavioral assessment and

review the need to create or revise a behavior intervention plan " .

I've heard positive things about a FBA, but I was wondering if anyone

can share some info on how you do an FBA and what I should look out for

to make sure we get a good one. Or if you have any " watch out for "

comments, I'd appreciate hearing those too.
