Guest guest
Mr Hanson, are you saying that crushed Revia is not naltrexone? for those of us who are ordering it from River Pharmacy, Revia is what we are getting. Please clarify,Thanks,Sherrill [sPAM] [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN and MS question Miki,I would make sure I was getting my LDN from a reliable compounding pharmacy that uses pure Naltrexone powder and not crushed Revia/NoDict tablets.I would reduce my dose down to 3.0mgs and see if there's improvements. Or, I would consider going to 4.5mgs. I know it seems confusing, but I think it's a matter of you experimenting with what works best for you. There are no definitive answers, in my opinion.I would alter the times I take LDN. If you're now taking it at 9PM, try taking it at 11PM. I would change my diet to one free of gluten, sugar, soy, casein, red meat. http://preview.tinyurl.com/248lydI would take DLPA.http://preview.tinyurl.com/2ladvcI would test myself for Candida and take the necessary steps to reduce yeast overload. http://preview.tinyurl.com/25jsx5For stiffness, I would try liquid magnesium to loosen up.Sometimes one experiences symptom increase during the first months on LDN. Perhaps this is what's happening in your case.http://preview.tinyurl.com/3crqjzI would look into Dr. Lawrence's protocol of what to do if you think you need steroids during an exacerbation.http://preview.tinyurl.com/yo4zhyIf you decide to go on steroids, which I hope you don't, >>>I<<< would continue with LDN. Don't stop. Again, this is MY opinion and I'm sure others would advise against this.Email me privately if you wish to converse.Artrtee54 > >> > > > Greetings fellow members:> > > > I asked a question regarding if anyone was taking a MS drug called > Copaxone along with LDN and I had only one response. Guest guest
By making LDN capsules from crushed Revia/NoDict tablets there's no sure way of knowing how much actual Naltrexone is in each capsule due to the filler in the tablets. A supposedly 4.5mg capsule made from the tablet may contain only 3.5mgs of Naltrexone. Skip's Pharmacy, for example, uses pure Naltrexone powder guaranteeing an accurate measurement. If you're making liquid LDN from the tablets, this problem doesn't apply.
