Once LDN helps get close to homeostasis, you're not weeping easy, you're just returning to normal emotions ? it only seems easy to you because for years nothing made you do it.

People with sjogren's would probably love to be able to cry real tears again

If you're on it 3 weeks you can be detoxing old emotions ;)

Anyone have weeping easily as a side effect of LDN? I am on the 4.5 mg for about 3 weeks. --CC

I notice if I forget a day (which has happened a couple times due to

me falling asleep) that I am much more weepy the following day.

No, but I have sometimes red that it leads to a mild depression for some, - and sometimes the opposite, you may get rid of milder depressions.

I was lucky getting better and getting more of a positive attitude, and I hope the weeping tendencies will fade out during the next weeks for you.

Take care, Ingrid

Hi CC,

If you're referring to crying, I have become a " weeper " in the past

couple of years. I don't know if it coincided with the onset of my

MS, but it may have been right around the same time. I wasn't

actually diagnosed until Aug 2007 and didn't start LDN until Sept

2007, so the weepiness didn't coincide with the LDN, but MAY have

started around the time of my MS symptoms.

I had never really thought about the weepiness starting around the

time of my MS symptoms, but before that, I was a " tough " little

cookie, who almost NEVER cried...now I seem to cry at everything.

For what it's worth... :)

I have had weeping easily (emotional incontinence) before I started

the LDN. I will cry sometimes if someone is nice to me (not sobbing

but tearful).I've been on LDN for 1 month but crying for years. I

think it is from my MS.

Yes, Crying easily is an MS symptom. I never saw cry until he started his MS symptoms. I have never seen him cry since starting LDN. Also that feeling of well being came back.

Everyone is a bit different, so it would not surprise me if someone actually started weeping on LDN. Perhaps it is a latent MS symptom that is coming out as the body gets used to it. Does he have MS (the original person that was being posted about)?

No, I don't have MS. The diagnosis is invasive lobular adenocarcinoma

plus some autoimmune stuff (lupus, sjogrens). By weeping, I mean

getting teary eyed easily. I am taking LDN plus alpha lipoic acid. I

was trying to figure out what was triggering the emotions and if it was

possible that it was the LDN. --CC
