Glenda,

I'm just catching up on posts and tried to email privately but it was sent back.

Anyway, my daughter has been g-tube fed since one month old and has been casted

since Feb '09 and has experience varying degrees of reflux. The cast does

aggrivate the reflux/vomiting, but as she's grown she doesn't throw up as much

as she used to. We duct tape all around the top of the cast, around the tummy

cut-out, and bottom, so that fluids don't penetrate the cast and cause odor, and

we also have her sleep in a bouncy seat with a syringe attached to her feeding

tube so that she can " vent " during her night feeds. I'd like to hear about your

child's g-tube experience. You can email me if you'd like...

spoonfull rice. Seriously.

it off yesterday and still no eating, we were afraid the cast was putting

pressure on his tummy which was causing the drop in appetite.
