Guest guest
That is the amount to be given every dose. So, 5 mgs ALA every three hours for three days = 120 mgs ALA total (assuming 3 hour dosing at night) over the course of the round. Guest guest
Janey, Fine to give both the dmsa/ala every 3 hours during the day and every 4 at night. [ ] Dosage question Our son is 11 years old - 80 lbs. I am currently giving him 50mg of DMSA and 25mg of ALA every three hours with one night dose at 4 hours. Is this correct or should I be giving the DMSA every 4 hours and the ALA every 3 hours? Is it okay to give both together every 3 hours? Thanks! Guest guest
HI- I'm having problems signing in on , don't have time tonight to figure it out. I feel really foolish but after taking LDN for about three months, I just noticed, had the glasses on, that he prescribed 4.5 dosage for me! Isn't that to high? Im only 4"10 and about 115 lbs. I’m going to see him tomorrow for a refill visit but wonder if I should have him lower it, ihad asked for 3.5 Please get back to me soon.. at mycastle220@... thanks jackie
Guest guest
Dear Jackie, How are you doing on 4.5mg If you are doing well then I would not change your dosage. If you are having problems then you might want to look at taking it down. Dr. Bihari suggested starting on 4.5mg unless you have problems with spams with M.S. For the most part I don't believe that there is a correlation for adults that have different weight. SammyJo took a poll on our site about 1.5 years ago and weight and/or gender did not seem to be factors in what dosage you did best at (between 3 to 4.5mg). It just seems to be an individual thing which one you do best on. My best Aletha > HI- > I'm having problems signing in on , don't have time tonight to > figure it out. Guest guest
Hello Aletha- thanks for writing! Well, my 'brain fog' has cleared a lot since taking the LDn, I still have a problem 'turning' real quickly though, at times. Having some numbness in right leg and foot, comes and goes. I know I cannot get stressed, I feel it right away. You are all wonderful, what a supportive bunch of people you are for those of us just starting on this road. I need to get myself on the right dosages of vitamins and try to get some rest.. that's a hard one. thanks again, jackie Re: [low dose naltrexone] dosage question Dear Jackie,How are you doing on 4.5mg If you are doing well then I would not changeyour dosage. Guest guest
1. Did you check with pharmacy to make sure it wasn't an error on their part. 2. When my son was 5 the doc called in 10 mg of Allecia for his migraines. The pharmacist wrote done 10 and followed it with a small circle for the period after the 10. When filled it was filled with 100 mg. Thank God they stressed it would be a low dose and I didn't give it. - [ ] dosage question Sent: Nov 22, 2009 2:49 PM I just got the zithromax (suspension liquid) filled for my 6yo, 43lb son. Directions say to take 6.25ml/day. That is over double the dose another doc told me to give my 33 lb daughter. Does this seem right? Double seems like a lot more for only a 10lb difference in their weights. Or maybe my daughter's seems low? I'll call the doc tomorrow to make sure this is right, but thought I would check with you all to see what anybody thinks. Guest guest
Yes, I checked, and even told the pharm it seemed high to me. The doc wrote the script for 250/5mg, and the suspension comes as 200/mg, so the pharmacist adjusted he dose. I am wondering if the doc wrote that part wrong. Dara > > 1.
