If I lived in a different state, it would be legal, but I can't give up my warmth for legalization...LOL> Hemp itself is an amazing product, used for so many things it is unbelievable. As far as a cure all, well, I don't know about that. I know THC works to alleviate anxiety and depression symptoms, increase appetite, calm muscle spasms..the list goes on and on. I have not had any adverse effects from using both LDN and marijuana, however I do find the need to calm myself with marijuana has gone down significantly since starting LDN> If you would like, I have a long list of different studies that have been done on THC use, and the effects. LDN works with the Opiod receptors, not the cannabinoid receptors. MJ is fine with LDN as far as that goes. [low dose naltrexone] LDN and Hemp oil Ok... I do alot of research on natural meds. I belong to a group called Patients Like Me, its mostly people with MS but other diseases as well. A few minutes ago I read on PLM about Hemp oil being a cure all. Im not falling for it but it did spark the question of Can medicinal marijuana be taken with LDN? The Scientist call it a narcotic but is it really? Is there anyone in this group that Legally smokes and takes LDN? Also could this hemp oil possibly increase the effectiveness of LDN? Please dont misunderstand. I do research not only for myself but for other people who suffer from immune diseases as well. Just thought I would get all of your opinions and see what I come up with. Thanks for all your help. Guest guest Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 Hemp oil and the hemp you smoke are two very different things.I believe hemp oil is derived from hemp seed just as hemp seed butter is - like peanut butter but much better for you. I feed this to my kids and although they are a little wacky at times they don't get 'buzzed' off of it. Hemp seed oil is sold in most health food stores. He gives directions on how to make it because it is not legal. Making it is also very dangerous from what I understand.
