Guest guest
Hey everyone, Thought I would give an update on how life is going for me. Had a really bad night tues. Woke up at 2am with really bad stabbing pains all round my stomach. Couldnt get back to sleep at all. Ended up with mum on the sofa watching a movie and then was physically sick. Then yesterday the pains seemed to had gone apart from this ache at the bottom of my stomach-really peculiar felt like i had a full bladder although i didnt. So usually when we get things like this pop up we go get a blood test done. so we went and did that. Other side effects were high temperature but i didnt link it to the stills as i didnt get the rash which usually appears with flares. Can anyone shed any light on these pains? Im expecting to have some sort of flare as i am under major stress at the moment what with gcses and the lot and we are moving house(not by choice) to hertfordshire. brothers just gone to uni and its all weighing down on my shoulders. So please get in touch thanks Vicky 16/f/uk/systemic
Guest guest
Hi Vicky, I sure do relate to your stomach or whatever pains. When I was in hospital with a bad flair, I had big bad pains that felt like stomach or back or kidney or somewhere in that area. All I know and remember is that they were so intense and painful that the nurses gave me shots of morphine, and a couple of times had to give repete shots of morphine to stop the pain. As for having fever and no rash, also had that happen a lot. Fever would be so darn bad that would sweat very much and have to change the bedding because it would be soaked sometimes twice a night. Wish you luck and speed of chasing away the pains. Dan > Hey everyone, > Thought I would give an update on how life is going for me. Had a really bad > night tues. Guest guest
Well, if the pain is radiating to your back and it gets worse when you eat food, it maybe your pancreas. Many of us have come down with pancreatitis, me included. No I do not drink alcohol either. Your best bet is to see the doc which is what you did. Keep us posted and I do hope you get to feeling better. Much love, Terry
Guest guest
Hi Vicky, When I had the symptoms you mentioned, it turned out to be a stomach ulcer. So don't go with pain too long before asking about the possibility of this. " Stress! " It's the pits! There's " good " stress, and " bad " stress, and some of us seem to get so much " bad stress when we don't even want it!! ~~tricia~~ -- Re: stomach pains? Guest guest
Hi Vicky, Sounds like the stomach bug that's doing the rounds at the moment. One of the hardest things is figuring out whether you feel the way you do because of the stills, or the drugs, or some " normal " bug that's about. I ask the people around me how they're feeling and if they've had anything and work it out that way! lol Try not to get too stressed out (yes, I know it's much easier said than done) 'cos I truly believe that stress is one of the main irritants to stills. Feel free to drop me a line anytime you want a chat, I know how you're feeling. My last flare (before this one started 4 years ago) was when I was 15 and I was under similar stresses to you. Take care of yourself and chill!! Graham West Sussex UK At 11:29 26/09/2002, you wrote: >Hey everyone, >Thought I would give an update on how life is going for me. Had a really bad >night tues. Guest guest
Dear Vicky, I wish you were not having what sounds like severe stomache pains. I also get what seems like similar pains that you get. I have yet to figure out what it is. I have IBS, Gastritis, Pericarditis from time to time and severe Constipation. I have had tests run and this is what they have found. It use to scare me when I would have these pains actually it still does. I would think as severe as these pains are something must be seriously wrong. If you find out anything let me know. Since this disease I have suffered quite a bit with stomach problems. My Rheum. Doc. doesn't seem to be that concerned about it. He seems to mostly chalk it up as from my IBS. Stress does seem to aggravate it. I probably haven't been to helpful. I am sorry about that. Just know your not alone. I hope we both find relief soon. Love, jatw@...
Guest guest
Stop the digestive enzymes for a few days and see if that helps and if not stop the LDN a few days and see what happens.
Guest guest
If you were feeling okay using 1.5mgs you should go back down to that and stay there for one month. Increasing slowy may be better for you. If you have a stomach virus that certainly will make you feel ill and you're problem may not be the LDN. Guest guest
Bonnie, in your shoes, I would ditch the enzymes and the LDN till you feel better, then gradually reintroduce one at a time, JMO.... Celia

Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, It might be the filler you are using. I will send you a few posts regarding others that have had stomach problems. Aletha [low dose naltrexone] stomach pains? I recently started taking LDN for my Grave's disease and theyroid eye disease.I started LDN at 1.5 for a week, then upped to 2.5-3 a week ago.
