Guest guest
brand newbie here but not to Lyme--18 plus year veteran with an 18 yo son--gestational.He is very ill past 3 yrs--bedbound! Anyway I really need some quick specific info re Lyme anyone here using LDN specifically for this. any positives and negatives--warnings etc--even if you have other illnesses--need to know your personal thoughts about the effect with Lyme sx I am going this week to ask that Evan ( the 18 yo) start a trial run of it due to the fact that for 3 yrs nothing else we have tried works ( or works for long) and he has documented immunology issues that after a bit of research Im starting to feel that this may help!! we also have dysautonomia ( one trigger is autoimmune) and the meds we tried for that work similarly to the upreg theory of the LDN ( but on different chemistry) so I am very intrigued!! as for fellow Lymies --there is a cross over with MS and other chronic illnesses so I agree with the posts Ive read here--to use Lyme specific sites--for Lyme there are great sites to gain more info--I suggest the website lymeneteurope.org theyre very science based and have lots of info--members are from U.S. and all over world- Id be wary of lymenet as its become less relible for solid info and much more apt to 'sell' alternatives without allowing full discussions of risks etc and be wary of the myriad other sites--some with cult like agendas based upon their " cure of the day " Unfortunately the bottom line is that there is not one protocol or one path to healing Lyme and there is no cure all--not MMS or Salt/C or Rife or any other cure all--and many have grave risks too!! If you favor alternatives, the Lyme Aid Buhner is a great site for herbals and for parents the lyme aid parents site. I look forward to hearing from those of you using LDN or with info on it for Lyme and TBD ( tick borne Disease) be well Finette

That would be an indication of a toxic liver. Have you had his yeast, heavy metals and viral loads checked? Hope you find an answer for him soon. Guest guest
Yes, Terri, it helps Lyme patients, too. It calibrates a dysfunctional immune system, which is very helpful in getting us well...notice I did not say cure? You can read more about how this drug works for the chronically ill in...The Promise of Low Dose Naltrexone Therapy by and Wilkinson.
