Guest guest
Hello friends, I have been taking 4.5 mg (capsule) for 2 nights so far (started on Monday, March 10th). I get it from Skip's Pharmacy in Boca Raton, FL. I have not noticed any side effects so far. I have had some interruption in sleep but I have always had that. I can't remember the last time that I slept through the entire night! LOL! I am able to fall back to sleep quickly so it really isn't a problem. All I can tell you is that, so far, I feel much better! Yesterday morning (the first day on LDN) I really wasn't very hungry, but I ate a scrambled egg and some grits. This is the first meal in a long time that I have been able to " keep " (my food usually " runs through " me). I felt great all morning...had a little macaroni salad for lunch...but it " went right through me " as food usually does. I felt some discomfort (normal for Crohn's)...but after a few hours...I felt better. Today is even better than yesterday! I had my usual bowel movements (diarrhea) this morning, but without the discomfort that I usually have. I ate a small breakfast and a small lunch and I have not had a bowel movement since I left home this morning 8 hours ago! Now...that is impressive to me! LOL! I am thinking that my body " senses " something " new " (LDN) and it must be a little confused. But the bottom line is that I really do feel better. I didn't expect to " feel " it this soon and I am sure that after a period of adjustment (maybe a week or so) I will know more about how my body is going to respond to this new treatment. My diarrhea AND my " discomfort " have decreased, and I am doing great! I feel " gut relief " for the first time in a long time. I am very pleased! ) I will keep you posted.
