Guest guest
Dear : I read somewhere that the Mayo clinic does not have good lyme testing, but I never checked it out. I also have read many postings on very various results from Igenex. In other words, some having one band positive and some having nearly every band positive. Thus, the results do vary. I think the most important thing is trying lyme treatments. If you herx or improve, than obviously you either have it or something similar. I feel like nearly every disease is caused by pathogens and toxins. I believe its best to just treat for all the various pathogens and toxins, since many treatments treat many of them, one does not necessarily have to know exactly which ones they have. For example, I believe in treating for worms first. Many worm treatments also kill protozoan. And many pathogens can live in the worms, reinfecting you, even though you killed the bacteria living outside the worms. Then get a detox plan going. I believe in modified citrus pectin (Pectasol) and nerve protectors, like milk thistle, ginger root, and turmeric, and black licorice. Make sure your digestion is in somewhat good of shape, then move on to direct anti-pathogens. I am starting with coconut oil, and then probably going to do " Buhner's recommendations from his " Healing Lyme " book. I think that if your doc wants to do lyme testing from where-ever, I don't see the harm. You can always do both Igenex and whatever lyme lab they want. Or wait and do Igenex later if you feel the need. If you really want to know what's best though, ask those with success rates. If a doc has a successful tract record at healing people with lyme, than listen to him. At this point, I am just not too impressed with antibiotics anyhow. I keep reading stories of people telling me they are dealing with antibiotic damage. I am not reading stories of people telling me they are dealing with herb damage, other then a few days of liver enzyme elevation from herbs that are known to do it. Thus, they knew ahead of time, and only took the herb for the short while, as is recommended. Guest guest
Mayo Clinic uses 1/1024 dilution or something like double what ALL OTHERS do. The chances of them actually picking up Lyme Disease are very, very small. This test was developed post LymeRix. It is very ineffective and should never have been approved. --- http://USFamily.Net/dialup.html - $8.25/mo! -- http://www.usfamily.net/dsl.html - $19.99/mo! ---
Guest guest
I ordered the Lymes testing kit from IGX. Wow there are a ton of things to have checked. Which one do I need? Does anyone know?
