Update so far taking 1.5 mg LDN

I have Graves disease and Thyroid Eye Disease.

After reading and researching LDN and joining this site I decided to

start a low dose 1.5 mg LDN. I have been taking it now for nearly 8 weeks.

What have I noticed so far, well I can say that I have seen marked

improvements in my eye disease, and great improvement in my energy levels.

I am still having sleep issues not because of LDN this is something

that has been going on since I was diagnosed back in 2005. I do find

about 1-2am I am fully awake and about an hour or so after taking LDN

which is around 11pm I become alert and full of energy.

When I do finally get to sleep I wake early around 6-7am feeling groggy.

I know there isn't much known about thyroid patients taking LDN and it

is really early days for us.

A few of us thyroid people set up a site which includes LDN as an

alternative along with conventional medicine.

I have learned so much by just reading other peoples post I don't

comment unless I feel the need to.

I would like however to put up this survey for those taking LDN who

have thyroid disease.

And this is the new site it tells you really what it is all about we

could do with other thyroid people sharing there experience on LDN.

I do hope that i am not doing anything wrong by putting up these links

if so could you please let me know.

I see it as very beneficial for others like me or anyone who has a

Autoimmune disease thyroid related to get together to compare aspects

of LDN.

I am not taking anything away fro this site in fact we advertise it

and the group for information for those wanting to know more.

Without the Low dose Naltrexone. Org none of us would have been aware

of this new treatment.

I will still keep you updated on my progress I get my labs hopefully

next week first ones since starting LDN.
