Hi ,

I had walking pneumonia. I really was hardly coughing at all

actually. I had pneumonia once before and it was much worse than

this. I think it really depends on the type of pneumonia. In

general I do not have many Samters symptoms at all, or I should say

they are basically completely under control with medications, and I

rarely have gotten " sick " in the last eight years at all, so I've

been lucky.

I think the UltraInflamX use can just be based on your symptoms. I

can't tolerate taking too much of it at once because of the chalky

texture, so I would take as much as I could mix in a glass of apple

juice for the regular yellow powder or now I use chocolate silk soy

milk and the chocolate powder which is much better. I don't remember

seeing what you said it says on the instructions, I would have to

look at mine at home and I'm at work right now.

I think during acute symptoms my doctor had me taking two scoops

twice a day. But that was always too much for me. Plus the stuff is

not cheap. Then again, if you can tolerate it and you have are

having symptoms, I say use as much as you can tolerate and afford, up

to maybe four scoops a day.

Are you talking about instructions on the canister or somewhere

else? I never got any separate instructions other than what my

doctor told me. I think one important thing to be aware of is that

you COULD subsist on this stuff for a while, it has a fair amount of

calories. So depending on how much you use you'll want to reduce

your calorie intake accordingly otherwise you could gain weight. It

is basically a food.

I'm not sure what it tells you about changing your diet. I think it

depends on if there is something in your diet that is causing the

inflammation. For many people there is. But I don't know what type

of inflammation you have so I can't really speak to that. I've cut

out a lot of stuff for me but I still have a sweet tooth and that's

definitely a big problem. But moldy foods :) are the worst for me --

can't eat anything that's even been near a mushroom basically. ANd

some cheeses are really bad.

Well, good luck, let me know how it goes.
