I used threelac with my twins for 2 months. The nonverbal twin started trying to

say words while watching a DVD (Baby Phonics). She said mama for the first time

thi. I have switched to GFE for the past 3 weeks and she is still making great

strides. I wanted to switch back and forth to see what works best for her. She

has a rash on her butt that Dr said is yeast. Dana sent me an email with a

picture of her son's rash that looked liked my daughters. She said it was a

virus and to use Lysine. So both girls have been on Lysine as well. I fiqured I

would treat for both.

My husband took the quick saliva test for yeast. Big positive for him. We saw

results in less than 5 minutes. I started him on Threelac 2 days ago. If he

doesn;t improve in a couple months I will the GFE on him.

I've been using ThreeLac for my 11-year old son on and off for the past 6 weeks

and I'm still not sure what to think. Since taking it, he has started walking

flat-footed instead of on his toes for the first time in his whole life. The

one thing I've noticed though is right after he takes it, he just starts making

noises (mumbling noises - no specific words). Then a few hours later he seems

more engaged and has been asking us lots of questions that he never did before.

So we have seen positives and negatives, so I'm still not sure what to do. I'm

also interested in what other people think about ThreeLac, positive or negative.

I started my 27 month old son on a ThreeLac the day before yesterday and the

reactions that I see so far: he is more hyper, tries to talk more but didn't

sleep all night long.

Anybody know what should I do?

For us it was awesome! Really battled the yeast quite well - it made a huge

impact in his overall awareness in 4 days.

Gaba and epsom salt baths worked for our 3 year old to calm him down. You

could also try melatonin to get him to sleep.

Gaba doesn't work for us and I do use the Epsom salt every night.

He never had a sleep problem before I started using the ThreeLac.

When do you give the ThreeLac? I notice that if I give it later in the day, my

son has trouble sleeping too. It could be from the B vitamins in it. If I give

it earlier in the day and give a little magnesium with it, he doesn't have

trouble sleeping.

You are probably right, I give it to him when I come home from work around

7:30pm.

I would have to find another way of doing it.

How do you give it to him, do you dissolve it into the water or it can be

given with an herbal tea?

Can you try a smaller dose and see if that helps??? I was going through my

notes and noticed that a couple of weeks in, the same thing happened here.

What helped was giving it in some juice less than an hour before bed. Once

he was out, he was out. Not sure if that would help for you, but I just

wanted to let you know.

I mix it with water. It tastes like lemon. I think it can be mixed in juice as

well.
