Guest guest
I would recommend getting in to see a doctor. That cough, maybe blood, sounds like more going on. JMO. Tammy Virastop and Candidase Hello, I am not sure what to do, I orderd the Virastop and the Candidase. My daughter started with high fever on Sunday, for 3 days, turned into runny/stuffy nose, and cough with fever at night by wednesday, and today she is ten times worse, the cough is much more deep seeded, and tonight she coughed and it was pink in the sink. not sure is some blood or not... We have been giving her the virastop since monday at noon, and started the Candidase on WEdnesday at the same time. She is getting worse, and has issues with Ketotic hypoglycemia, (keeping her blood sugar up). WE are using some HOmeopathic for the runny nose stuff and some Hylands natural honey cough syrup. She is 6. But each day she gets worse and I am getting concerned about bronchitus or pneumonia. She looks like I punched her in both eyes, and she has lost 4 pounds since Sunday, she is up all night coughing, and with us having to give her something every two hours to keep her blood sugar above 70 during this sick time, I wonder if the the Candidase or Virastop is even worth it or helping at all since she is not on a true empty stomach. But if we don't feed her, she will pass out from Ketotic coma. I am so confused and dont know what to do, this is the first time she has been truly sick more than just a sniffles cold. WE've had occasional bouts with vomiting that she ends up in the hospital anyway to keep her sugar up, but nothing as prolonged as this... I feel like my only option is to go get antibiotics, and if she ends up in the hospital from Low blood sugar from the Viral issues attacking, I fear they will just do that anyway..To safeguard her from anything else. Also we no longer vaccinate, nothing since 3rd birthday, almost died 2 times after each vaccination, highly allergic to egg white.... So no flu vaccines here either..... Any advice from Allesandra or Dana?? Jen

Guest guest
Well by 1:30am we ended up at the ER, I could no longer control her blood sugar, and th ecough became SO bad that she was whistling when she took a breath, and it was getting very deep, barky wet sounding. Neither of us has slept much the last 5 days, and we consulted with our Doc at s hopkins, and we left for the hospital right away. Thankfully her lungs were clear, no pneumonia, but dehydrated, and sugar was out of kilt. All viral, --the dreaded Swine flu, all upper respiratory, on and off fever. WE just have to keep her sugar under control, --The cough has stayed bad, so we are in for a long night....Still using the virastop since they prescribed nothing with the viral, thankfully.... She is finally sleeping, so I am going for a nap too... thanks for your kind words and care. Guest guest
yep. spent early hours after midnight at ER, cough got really bad, Sugar was hard to control, So I went. They said swine flu, with heavy cough, all viral, they got her sugar stable and gave her fluids. we are fighting it at home today, not much better. I am concern about tonight with her sugar, and told them to be ready, we will mostly likely be back.... She has been thru so much in her 6 years, spent more time in the hospital with her sugar problems, but this is the first time she has truly been sick. maybe 2 small colds in her lifetime, but with all the supplements and diet it has stayed away--until now, her first timein school.. Thanks for your concern, I will keep all of you posted, Keep in your prayers.... Jen Virastop and Candidase >> >> >> >> Hello, >> >> I am not sure what to do, I orderd the Virastop and the Candidase. Viral die off caused major yeast here. I had to give 5 Candidase with each 1 Virastop for a while, and then eventually I had to also add biotin and GSE. Major cough that comes along with virus issues, always meant yeast overgrowth here. Try increasing the yeast protocol. >>She looks like I punched her in both eyes, and she has lost 4 pounds since Sunday, she is up all night coughing, This meant yeast here. Guest guest
I wonder if doing all this at once is too much? If she has a virus, then detoxing from yeast die-off is a huge stress on the body. I don't know what protocol you are following , sorry, but can only speak from my own experience with candida die-off. Have you tried activated charcoal to absorb die-off toxins? Or methyl b and molybdenum which also help with die-off? I know there are different schools of thought on this, but it seems to me that this is a lot of stress to be putting on a body while it is already weak and not able to optimally process all those toxins. Epsom baths help get toxins out through skin, relieving over-burdened liver, etc. There is also a possibility of a allergy to herbs or supplements. > > I am not sure what to do, I orderd the Virastop and the Candidase. Guest guest
WE increased the Candidase yesterday, and today, she has been screaming and crying with a horrible headache and fever is now back. Today we continued with the Virastop/ Candidase and added biotin/GSE, and all three times of giving it to her within 1 hour she started screaming in pain from headache and started vomiting. SHE has ketotic hypoglycemia, and cannot go without food and drink, we have to keep her sugar up, or she passes out. Now on top of all this, she has massive sore throat from all the vomiting, And we just cannot keep doing this, she already lost 5 pounds in the last week, has missed a whole week of school--we were hoping she would be better, the virus has died off, coughing has really lessened and she was fine until we did th eCandidase 3 times yesterday with the Virastop, and then added the biotin and GSE. Now she is worse, and not only behavior or die--off, this is a serious health concern due to her sugar levels. FEel totally lost, and don't know what to do. Does anyone else feel like you treat one thing, and then you have to treat another, and then another., YOu spend all this money on product, and it just goes in a vicious circle. I cannot have her throwing up, or we end up in the hospital, it's that simple... Jen Re: Virastop and Candidase > >> I am not sure what to do, I orderd the Virastop and the Candidase. Guest guest
Well I used the Virastop because I was told it would help with the Flu virus, And then told because she has such yeast issues to use th eCandidase at the same time becuase it would cause such horrible yeast during viral die off. that was why I did them both, Re: Virastop and Candidase >I wonder if doing all this at once is too much? Yeast die off can cause this, you can try giving activated charcoal about 45 minutes after the anti-fungal. I have noticed with me personally, that sometimes yeast die off can give me a low-blood-sugar episode. Mine are not nearly as bad as you describe for your child tho. You might want to back off on the anti-virals until you get her more stabilized. Chromium is good for blood sugar regulation. > Does anyone else feel like you treat one thing, and then you have to treat > another, and then another., That was the story of my son's life for over 10 years. Guest guest
is charcoal something that can be mixed in juice or taste yucky? She cannot swallow any capsules yet, we have tried for over a year now, but her gag reflux, and taste issues are a problem.... Guest guest
BAck off the anti-virals? I thought the reason I was giving them was because she had the flu so bad?? this is all so confusing....getting frustrated. I have not used charcoal, but from what I have read, you can mix it into liquids, but it will turn the liquid black. So use a cup that you can't see thru, like a sippy cup. It caused so much yeast here it was unreal. And if your child is having as much trouble as you wrote, because of the yeast and die off issues, then you might need to back off on the anti-virals because of it.
