Thyroid, the Pituitary Gland -- and LDN

Hi Everybody,

I have Hashi's and with my first try at LDN @ the 4.5 dose I very

quickly became over medicated w/ thyroid hormone -- so I stopped

taking the LDN after just 19 days. (The thyroid caution was not on

the LDN org website when I first tried LDN.)

Because I had that quick response, I wanted to understand WHY...so I

did some research and found this graphic and discussion of what the

pituitary gland is responsible for.

When you see all the targeted organs / functions you can see why the

thyroid can get stimulated.

The LDN ORG website focuses mostly on how LDN affects 'endorphin

production process' and describes the endorphins relationship to the

immune system. But I don't think LDN is being that discriminating --

I think that LDN is affecting (perhaps) ALL of those processes listed

in the graphic. --- ???? --- I'm not a scientist so don't know this

for a fact, but SOMETHING made my body / thyroid produce more hormones

and starting LDN was the only change I made.

I have just restarted LDN @1.5 dose this week...and 'fingers crossed',

I hope I don't have that same reaction.

Jann
