Guest guest
Both of my boys showed high levels of arsenic in a hair test, so we are thinking about chelation. I am reading some contradictory advice about what the best agent for arsenic is (some say ALA, some say TTYD, and I have heard good things about NCD for other metals). I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has chelated arsenic. What chelator did you use? What was the protocol? DId you do anything first, such as work on the gut or support liver and kidneys? Were there side effects? Anything else I should know? Thanks so much! -Sierra, mom to Avery, 4, hyperlexic and Brennan, 6, NT
Guest guest
My son's arsenic was high. We worked on gut first, then started clay bath and far-infraed sauna. We supplement extra mineral and vitamin after starting the bath and sauna. I also control his arsenic intake, e.g. orgainc meat, fruit and as much as possible organic vegetable. This protocol is gentle. We don't see side effect. Connie Has anyone chelated arsenic? Both of my boys showed high levels of arsenic in a hair test, so we are thinking about chelation. Guest guest
My son was high in arsenic on his urine excretion tests, and on the test it says, " Detoxication occurs via methylation, requiring S- adenosylmethionine (SAMe). Arsenic can be increased in urine following administration of sulfhydryl detoxifying agents such as DMSA, DMPS, or D-Penicillamine. " What we've done is give SAMe about 100mg twice daily, especially when chelating, and it has truly helped excrete arsenic 10 fold. Hope this helps! > > My son's arsenic was high.
