Guest guest
> I will be seeing a new Dan! doctor (not my first, we've been doing biomed for 4 years) in February and I'm wondering if I should stop the supps I'm giving ( except multivitamin, enzymes and probiotics) because I haven't had any real testing done in a long time and quite frankly don't even know what I'm all treating for, thinking that maybe I should stop and give his body a rest and then do the testing in Feb. and see what we should really be treating for and get some guidance in doing it....what do you guys think? I have stopped supplements a few times, usually when my son started regressing and I needed to figure out which one/s he no longer needed. Guest guest
As a normal course, if you are not seeing a gain from a supp you should not use it. I would stop the supps one at a time and watch for changes. If you see a negative change when you stop, then it was doing something for your child. If you see no change, it was not. Are you chelating? if so, don't stop the antioxidants for sure. Why do you need to see a DAN? Guest guest
Although I am against most dans! I decided to see a another one to get the proper testing done in order to know what I need to fight ( viruses, yeast etc..) and to know what he's deficient in, Long story short....I'm SICK of guessing all the time! Rose           ....I do think that those who can do this on their own and know all the signs and symptoms of everything that wrong with their kids is truly an amazing feat and wish I could do it, but I don't want to keep going around the bottom of the mountain...I want to start moving up! I have to stop guessing at everything all the time.. ________________________________ From: TJ Werth <tj_werth@...> Sent: Fri, November 20, 2009 11:50:47 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Should I stop all of our supps?  As a normal course, if you are not seeing a gain from a supp you should not use it. Guest guest
I would ask the question again, are you chelating? I believe this the solution to most everything. For example, you will never defeat yeast until you get the metals out. Guest guest
I think anybody who does this is risking a dangerous regression? What if it was your body ?                                     From: Rose Rudolph <roserudolph55@...> Subject: Should I stop all of our supps? autism treatment , , mb12 valtrex Date: Thursday, November 19, 2009, 6:54 PM  I will be seeing a new Dan! doctor (not my first, we've been doing biomed for 4 years) in February and I'm wondering if I should stop the supps I'm giving ( except  multivitamin, enzymes and probiotics) because I haven't had any real testing done in a long time and quite frankly don't even know what I'm all treating for, thinking that maybe I should stop and give his body a rest and then do the testing in Feb. and see what we should really be treating for and get some guidance in doing it....what do you guys think? Guest guest
Hi Rose, Just wanted to say I'm in the same boat that you are: Working very very hard to heal my sons and feeling as though I can never know enough. I, too, am in awe of those parents who seem to know all the signs and symptoms and what supp does what in combination with what else, and I am so very grateful to them for sharing their knowledge on this board. I feel as though I can move us forward at present without a DAN, but always have in the back of my mind that we may need to go to yet another one (have learned as much as we could from the previous one). Wishing you and everyone success, I would ask the question again, are you chelating? I believe this the solution to most everything. For example, you will never defeat yeast until you get the metals out.
