You can probably ask your ped/doctor to run the test for you. I think from

what my nutritionist told me, some mineral tests have to be run separately,

so the cost can go up quite high.

Great Plains has some tests that include some minerals.

As for white spots on nails, it's a sign of zinc deficiency. You could try

extra zinc, but it decreases copper (not a problem if copper is high to

begin with), so you would want to watch for signs of copper deficiency.
