Guest guest
Gretchen, I don't know about bones specifically, but I'm doing part of my son's Vitamin K protocol and my teeth have gotten a lot stronger and lost their extreme sensitivity. I'm assuming its helping all bone structure. I take Vit. K1 and Vit. D, about 3000mg Vit. D and about 1000mg Vit. K a day. The protocol is different for a child (Vit K2, which is much more expensive, but I assume I can make the conversion from the K1), but my modifications seem to be working for me. The list is VitaminK. Any suggestions on helping a person in their 40's build up bones that are being lost due to heredity? Someone mentioned " Bone Builder " on www.trivita.Som Has anybody tried this or anything else? Thanks... Gretchen
Guest guest
Would you mind sharing the protocol for a child that you use? Thanks! > > Gretchen, > > I don't know about bones specifically, but I'm doing part of my son's Vitamin K protocol and my teeth have gotten a lot stronger and lost their extreme sensitivity. Guest guest
We have also been doing the vitamin K protocol (join the group for more info). I think the green pastures CLO and K2 have been positive for the whole family. My son does the whole protocol. My NT daughter's teeth have almost lost their fluorosis spots. > > > > Gretchen, > > > > I don't know about bones specifically, but I'm doing part of my son's Vitamin K protocol > and my teeth have gotten a lot stronger and lost their extreme sensitivity. Guest guest
When I was looking into whether we needed to supplement calcium for bone health when going GF/CF (BTW, an article published in the AAP journal Pediatrics shows no scientific evidence that dairy intake in childhood is related to bone health), the two factors that seemed the most important in the scientific literature were exercise and vitamin D. Apparently, bones become stronger when they receive compression, unless maybe this is the hereditary problem?
