Guest guest
I have read in the threads that many of our members are taking Prednisolone (steroids or Prednisone), but also seen here and there some complaining of their eyesight. Please by all means consult a specialist of cataracts; I was misdiagnosed with optic neuritis due to my MS condition until my wife found throughout one of her relation an eye specialist who accepted to analyse further my eyes. The result is: I have been half-blind for 3 years and after 2 surgeries (1 for each eye) I know see like never before... I don't need glasses for normal sight; only for close reading. My view is perfect now. If I had kept listening to the first advice I would still almost blind... After a long period of prednisolone treatment; cataracts form in the eyes. I was on steroids for ~ 5years when my eyesight dramatically get worse and worse by the day. Hope this may help, Cheers! Algis
