Guest guest
*** Hi Wanda, I had my son's testing done through Doctor's Data and he had a 4+ on the Pseudomonas aeruginosa and it did show a sensitivity to GSE and also Uva Ursi. I had also been giving him a probiotic with a strep strain in it and he had three inbalances, two with strep at 4+. I stopped that probiotic and retested four months later. The P/a was gone but now a ela morgani showed up with a sensitivty to GSE, so not sure *how* he managed to get that seeing i was giving him the GSE(?) Also, his imbalances went down to only two with a 1+, much better i think. My son get 250 billion probiotics from Custom Probiotics and a Culturelle every day....at least four hours away from the GSE. Even though i was giving GSE his beneficial flora was still at a 4+. Hope this helps a little, Sherry > > Hi Everyone, > > We just got back CDSA for my Son's stool. > > It showed: > No Lactobacillus species > No E. Someone said in a much earlier post that their test showed the naturals as GSE and Uva Ursi. Please if anyone has info from their test on naturals that would be great because apparently in NY they don't seem to show the naturals that would be helpful. I am scared because I don't know what to do. Should it even be treated? How long is a course of Cipro? On an earlier post someone said their child was on cipro for 5 days and their child was better. > >

No doctors seem to have much to say to help- I have to make an appt. with the doctor we did the test through and he is so booked up. So, I took my son to his G.I. doc and he wouldn't help- said I needed an appt. with infectious disease doctor. So, I went to my primary care doctor and she didn't seem to get the whole stool testing because she is not familiar with metametrix labs who did the test and wouldn't know what to treat it with or how much, or how long. So, she is referring us to the infectious disease dept. That should also lead to nowhere since I have seen this specialist about the yeast overgrowth and the doc didn't seem to have an idea or care because she couldn't see signs of yeast on his body (Mouth, buttocks etc.). I told her that's because it is in his G.I. tract. So, that went no where. So, I am going with the GSE. How much did you have to give? Do you remember your protocol? Where did you get the custom probiotics? I need a much better probiotic but it can't have any fillers or FOS or inulin (due to fructose intollerance). Did you use activated charcoal too? Or enzymes with it? Thanks so much again, Wanda Thanks for all your help.

Then before bed a gave him one no-fenol. He fell asleep before I could give him the probiotic we have. He fell asleep an hour early. Ugh, now he will probably wake up early and get his sleep schedule all off. Tomorrow will be a better day. Dr. appt and blood draw through our schedule all off. Thanks for any advice. Guest guest
Hi Wanda, It's been my experience that doctor's aren't much help:( I started with three drops of GSE and worked up to appx. 6-8 drops 3X per day. I found that i can get at least eight drops in vanilla rice milk without much taste difference, if that's a concern. You can order Custom Probiotics here: www.customprobiotics.com. I'm *pretty* sure they don't use FOS. They have an informative site and can custom what ever you need. Culturelle DOES have insulin, so you wouldn't want that. I don't use the charcoal but do use the No-fenol with GSE and i also use digestive enzymes. I'm chelating my son and so i usually give his probiotics with his late night does of ALA. Glad i could help! Sherry > Hi Sherry, > I am so glad you wrote back. In order to kill the psuedomonas aeruginosa? My son seems to tollerate the GSE pretty well. So, starting with 3 drops GSE and one capsule of no-fenol would help? Is that what you did? I can give it to him in water. He makes a face but is okay with it. How old is your son? Did a doctor give you the GSE protocol? Or is it just something you learned on your own? Guest guest
***He was on the GSE (and still is) for four months before we tested again and it was gone. My kiddo is 7 and i don't use a doc except for his hypo T. Sherry > how long did you do the GSE for? In order to kill the psuedomonas aeruginosa? My son seems to tollerate the GSE pretty well.
