Guest guest
Thanks Ladies ( & men) for your help!!! I seriously don't know what I'd do without all of your help and !!! Thank you!!! So, according to the counting rules he has " abnormal mineral transport " . What do I do now? Can I pdf the results in hopes I can get more help with this? I find it strange he is high in: aluminum, antimony, arsenic, tin. And low in: iodine and iron. But using the counting rules...it makes sense now. He's had a blood test in the past to check for lead exposure and nothing showed up. He is very low in zirconium...is that normal? As for the " liquid glutathione " ...has anyone, who is sensitive to milk protein, had a problem with this? They do have a powder form but that has rice in it...something DS is also sensitive to. They also want him to take GABA. Has anyone have experience with GABA? I'm not really liking what I'm reading in regards to the side effects and am scared to give him this. If, as you mention Dana, all these supplements they want him to take tend to increase yeast and he currently has a serious yeast issue should we wait to get his yeast issue under control before moving on with the supplements? > >>He also has elevated levels of Copper. > Give zinc. Some molybdenum is also good. Take: L-taurine, liquid glutathione, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate, Naltrexone, & Molybdenum...I don't know why or what they are. >Most of these tend to increase yeast, so watch for that, and increase the yeast protocol as required. >Apply the counting rules > http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/HOW_TO_hair_test.html > Dana
Guest guest
, You can find info on the naltrexone[only LOW dose] @ Autism_LDN/ It is an immune modulator used in low dose. Dosage is based upon weight and dose does not go above 4.5mg which is recommended for 150+ pound person. We use 4mg of the cream form[for 115#], applied at bedtime. GABA experience here was not good. It caused great neuro irritability that lead to seizures[my d struggles w seizures since age 9y]. We were able to reduce elevated copper using zinc and molybdenum also. > > > >>He also has elevated levels of Copper. > > Give zinc. Guest guest
It may be worth joining autism treatment and posting your hair test there for an interpretation. Our son gets quite anxious and we have tried GABA (it should be given spread through out the day I believe) but it has not done much here, and after reading 's post I might pay a bit more attention than usual to its affects. Research information about chelation. > Can I pdf the results in hopes I can get more help with this? You can post a hair test in the files section of a-m forum /files > If, as you mention Dana, all these supplements they want him to take tend to increase yeast and he currently has a serious yeast issue should we wait to get his yeast issue under control before moving on with the supplements? Work on the yeast issue, so you know what works for your child. My son did best with biotin, GSE, ACV, and Candidase. Dana
Guest guest
I really don't want to get into a heap big debate about this but please think carefully about IV glutathione and don't just take your doc's word as gospel. Most people who are sick have low glutathione, so therfore IMO it is the sickness that causes low glutathione and not low glutathione that causes the sickness. There are precursors to glutathione that would probably be safer if you really feel the need for this. Just my opinion for what it's worth. Kenny > > liquid glutathione did make our casseine-intolerant 3.5 year old guy hyper, the other forms of gsh we gave him prior did nothing - ie transdermal and capsule. we shelved the essential gsh liquid for now, but will try again. the fact that it did anything made us think this was something worth looking into. > > we might try doing an iv glutathione push in the near future. if not, osr is also available, it is a new ala-esque antioxidant that is supposed to be good at pushing out metals, and it is comprised of or contains glutathione. i have never tried this, and it is very new (not even a year old), so i am speaking only from things i have heard and read across the internet. > > on gaba, i think piracetam has gaba in it, not 100 percent sure. piracetam is a side effect free (most of the time) capsule that is supposed to help with fine motor, dyspraxia, etc. it is a nootropic, and works well with phosphocholine (amt or wellness... the alabama pharmacy carries this). we use colorado nutritionals piracetam. we started a month ago, have not seen anything major as a result but some people seaar by it. > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
So, , what should I do then? IV gl is not going to be an option. And if the liquid and powder form are also not an option is there any other way? Is the gl considered a precursor? we are taking a lot of vit c > > what your saying is true, kenny. the bigger problem is that protein is not being ingested adequtely and definitely not being digested. the body likes to make it's own glutathione. most of the glutathione products on the market with the exception of iv glutathione (which must be made under nitrogen in special pharm/labs.) do not have glutathione in them. if they had it all in the beginning of formulation, there is none at time of use. it doesn't like to be by itself and degrades rapidly in o2 environments. so that's why precursors are better. also when stirring up toxins and trying to heal, the body need a lot of good protein (complete) to heal and detoxify along with vit c (not ascrobic acid) . linda rn > >
