Guest guest
My son is still on Diflucan (Day 40 at 50mg) on my DAN's advise. For the past few days I notice increase verbal stims and since yesterday I have noticed increasing silly laughs. Could this be the yeast flaring up? Or have I kicked up bacteria due to the yeast dying? He has also been sneezing a lot lately and I looked into his nostril last night whilst asleep and the inside looks a little wet and red. MY cranial sacral therapist said my son has a virus lurking coming up and asked me to give my son some maple bud drops. The boil on his head has dried up but the lump behind his ear (suspected swollen lymph node) is still there though smaller. He is on the following:- - Mag citrate (180mg 2X/day) - vit B6 (50mg/ 1Xday) - Biotin (4mg/ 1Xday) - Vit C (125mg 2X/day) (NB he is high'ish oxalate) - VSL#3 probiotic (1/2 tsp 1X/day) (My DAN asked me to give 1/2 tsp 2X/day to deal with possible bacterial flare) - cuturelle probiotic (2 caps 1X/day) - activated charcoal (1X/day) Epsom salt bath 1X / day I know many people suggested doing antibacterial at the same time as antifungal. - Does anyone have a suggestion of antibacterial to add? - Does the antibacterial have to be given away from the probiotics? - can the antibacterial be given at the same time as the Diflucan? Sorry about the length of this post, but I am at my wits end trying to fight this battle and I seem to be losing ground fast..... Many thanks for your help. Guest guest
Good anti-bacterials, anti-fungals, anti-many-other-things are olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract, oregano extract, colloidal silver and coconut (oil, water, etc). Try making some coconut water keifer. It will kill the yeast and bad bacteria in his gut and replace it with the good bacteria at the same time, like yogurt. Directions to make it are here http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com/kefir_culture.htm and a video here http://renegadehealth.com/blog/how-to-make-coconut-kefir/. You should be able to buy what you need at the local health food store and you can use either green coconuts or canned water. Or have I kicked up bacteria due to the yeast dying? At my house, it would have been a yeast flare. >>He has also been sneezing a lot lately This was also yeast here, altho it can also mean the yeast is dying off and leaving the body thru the nose. Yeast tended to migrate around the body at my house, before being eliminated. > - Does anyone have a suggestion of antibacterial to add? I usually used OLE, but sometimes OoO. > - Does the antibacterial have to be given away from the probiotics? Yes > - can the antibacterial be given at the same time as the Diflucan? Yes, so far as I know [i have never used Diflucan] Dana
Guest guest
Just a few thoughts. My son is 2.5yrs and we are giving much more quantities of the supplements. Example, vit. C 1000 to 1500mg, 200-250mg vit B6. We also had a bad experience with anti-fungals, though we may have started too many at the same time. We gave him GSE 1 drop, wild oil of oregano (5 drops capsule which may have been too much) and 500mg OLE. We stopped after two days because of too much stimming and being hyper which made him stop saying the few words he had.
