Guest guest
Hi Amy! So much for another opinion, considering I work for Enzymedica! BUT I think it would definitely be ok to start with V-gest. It still has lower amounts (a lot lower!) of protease than the Digest & Digest Gold. But you could always give him 1/2 a capsule of the V-gest and see how he reacts. Then increase to a full. Even working your way up to Digest Gold. Guest guest
I am more of a lurker and don't normally chime in at this group, but I did want to add to this topic, I have crohns and am super sensitive to EVERYTHING. When I first started enzymes Lacto was the only one I could tolerate. I couldn't tolerate V-gest, I really give Lacto alot of credit for improving my health tremendously. I wouldn't get hung up on the name 'lacto' it is a broad spectrum enzyme that is good for everything. Although I now am able to use Digest Gold and other enzymes, I still use lacto daily and swear by it
