Guest guest
Well, if you are making gf items, a lot of these have alternate flours in them and I've seen almond in them before. Maybe he just doesn't tolerate any form or amount of almonds and he's getting in something you're baking/making. Is that possible? From: gfcfmommy <gfcfmommy@...> Subject: Why has son has started eye stim???? Date: Thursday, April 1, 2010, 9:06 AM Â Hi, My son, 8, has recently started an eye stim. He had this once before, when he ate almonds. It disappeared about a week after we stopped. Is there any other reason this could have started again? Thanks, Susi

For my son, depending on exactly what the eye stim looked like, it could have been a few things, including yeast overgrowth, viruses, and deficiencies of certain B vitamins. Almonds are high phenol, so might have been that. Dana
Guest guest
Dana, Thanks for your reply. His eye stim is him rapidly looking out of the corner of his eyes and shaking his head quickly. He looks several times in a row. He looks like he is " rattling " his brain! We stopped almonds many months ago, so I know it is not that. And he takes Revitapop mB12 suckers every day. What B vitamins could be the problem? We will treat for yeast immediately. Thanks, Susi > > My son, 8, has recently started an eye stim. He had this once before, when he ate almonds.
