Also, look into hemp milk. > So we have found that my DS needs to be on a low oxylate diet for a > while and he also needs to cut back on his acidic intake. Guest guest
My son's Ped GI Rx'd my son a powdered formula, called Neocate, Jr. it is meant for kids with GI, malapsorption issues, and multiple allergies. It is packed with nutritents and mixes well with cold water or rice milk (mixes better when I shake it in a juice cup w/ cover). My son sees Dr. Buie and it was Rx'd by the nutritionist that he works with. He told me that it could be used as a meal replacement if necessary b/c it's high in protein. If you tell your pediatrician or nutritionist that your child has feeding issues and is on a limited diet due to allergies, you can ask them to give you a perscription for it as it's expensive ($40 per can, otherwise). hope this helps. > > -Have you tried Vance's Dairy free milk? you can order it from > kirkman's.
