Guest guest
Hi Susi Angry / aggressive / attitude for my son is overgrowth of bad bacteria. I see nothing in your protocol to address this. Everyone has a different approach - for my son, he had a Rx antibiotic (Flagyl) plus lots of probiotics. For some, overgrowth of candida can do the same - I see you're using valtrex which always causes LOTS of yeast overgrowth - and although you're supplementing with biotin, it may not be enough to do the trick. So it may be that you need to increase your yeast protocol first. (Mood regulators would be when everything else failed. For me, first priority is to get to the root of the problem - which is usually a gut imbalance either towards bad bacteria or bad yeast:-)) Good luck :-) Sorry for the repost but we are getting desperate, my 8 yr old is seriously angry - talking about hurting us, screaming, kicking things, etc. Luckily he isn't big enough to do anything yet, but I am convinced that we need to do something to help regulate his mood soon.On the flip side, he is also loving and sweet at other times. Thanks for your help. We have been having more problems with anger/moods at our house since we upped our detox protocol. It is getting really bad. We have used 5 HTP in the past, but the effects wore off quickly and it stopped working after a few weeks. What is the best non-Rx mood regulator? GABA? TMG? Taurine? Pheni-but (Kavinace?). What do they need to be absorbed? My son is taking:valtrex,mB2 shots daily, taurine, diflucan, biotin, epsom salt baths, clay baths, SCDiet and charcoal as needed. He is terribly angry - maybe not feeling well? Thanks, Susi
Guest guest
my 9yr old was the way----and we put him on OMega 3 mood, which is a high dose of EPA DHA as well as 5htp----he also takes biotin daily. And wow what a difference.... WE purchase our supplements from vitacost.com and use the blue label nsi brand.... Have you kept a journal so you can try to correlate what was different on the " bad " days from the " good " days? > We have been having more problems with anger/moods at our house since we upped > our detox protocol. What is your detox protocol? Depending on what it is, first consider yeast overgrowth and mineral depletion. > My son is taking:valtrex,mB2 shots daily, taurine, diflucan, biotin, epsom salt > baths, clay baths, SCDiet and charcoal as needed.
