Guest guest
Do I recall reading on here that OLE helps to fight yeast? And about how much should be taken? Thanks SOO much!
Guest guest
> Do I recall reading on here that OLE helps to fight yeast? And about how much should be taken? Not at my house. It actually INCREASED yeast, because it addressed viruses. For some people, it does help with yeast tho. I used it for bacteria and viruses. I started with 250mg and worked up. What supplements are you taking, and what are you taking them for, and are they helping? For my son, almost everything he needed for recovery, tended to increase yeast. So I kept the supplements and increased the yeast protocol. Biotin and GSE worked best here. Guest guest
Did I remember that your children did not or could not take probiotics? I read so much of this stuff trying to make sense of what's going on here, it gets confusing. From: danasview <danasview@...> Subject: Re: OLE for yeast? Guest guest
How did you know your child couldn't handle probiotics? I wonder this about my son.  I also wanted to ask you about Biotin. You said Biotin needs Magnesium. We bought the Henry's brand Biotin 5 mg Ingredients: Cellulose, capsule (vegetable source) magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide. Do we need to add additional magnesium when giving the biotin? If so, how much. Our son is 3 1/2, 33lbs. We give 1/2 capsule of biotin in am and 1/2 capsule pm. Thanks in advance! From: danasview <danasview@...> Subject: Re: OLE for yeast? Date: Sunday, January 10, 2010, 8:11 AM  > Did I remember that your children did not or could not take probiotics? Guest guest
> How did you know your child couldn't handle probiotics? I wonder this about my son. Very bad reactions that were not associated with die off. My son had this problem even with probiotics that did not contain strep strains, but many kids have problems just with the probiotics with strep strains. Which probiotics are you using? > I also wanted to ask you about Biotin. You said Biotin needs Magnesium. We bought the Henry's brand Biotin 5 mg Ingredients: Cellulose, capsule (vegetable source) magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide. Do we need to add additional magnesium when giving the biotin? Depends. Don't count the magnesium stearate in the product. But biotin can cause constipation if you are very deficient. Add magnesium until the constipation goes away. >>If so, how much. Our son is 3 1/2, 33lbs. We give 1/2 capsule of biotin in am and 1/2 capsule pm. I would try 200mg magnesium. If that causes diarrhea, give less. If you still have constipation, give more. Dana
