Guest guest
I believe at the last Dan conference there was a talk about zinc helping appetitie. It takes a long time for zinc to get deep into cells.. 6 to 8 months. Supplement to increase appetite? Hi all, Does anyone know of a supplement that will increase appetite? Currently, is on Digest (1/2 cap/feeding) , Culturelle and Magnesium. Tomorrow we're adding zinc and a couple of days after that folic acid. Thanks in advance! Guest guest
The zinc supplements I bought are 50mg/capsule. Does that sound like an average amount? definitely appears to be someone I can't rush. Thanks again! Dana C. > > I believe at the last Dan conference there was a talk about zinc helping appetitie. Guest guest
My son weighs 28 lbs and was tested severly low in zinc. His Dan put him on 15 mg. I know some Dan doctors do 1 mg per pound plus 20 mg but too much zinc can be rather toxic I think. I woul star low and work up and see how he toleates it. My son also gets 5 mg in another supplement. I know there are soee things that can block its absorption .. I think iron and calcium but Dana would know if you ask her. Hope this helps Supplement to increase appetite? > > Hi all, > > Does anyone know of a supplement that will increase appetite? > Currently, is on Digest (1/2 cap/feeding) , Culturelle and > Magnesium. Guest guest
Thanks, . I think is also deficient in calcium. We are (were?) planning on starting calcium supplements next week and switching from rice milk to hemp milk. So that said, if calcium blocks the absorbtion of zinc (I'm sure Dana will read this and reply when she gets a chance - not like she's busy or anything! LOL!) we'll plan on dividing up the supplements and work slowly toward the correct amount. How would I know if 's getting too much zinc and/or calcium? One thing I forgot to mention earlier, I have also bought biotin (2500mcg) but I've decided to start the biotin after we do the zinc, folic acid & calcium. Does this all sound like a good plan? Should I change the order of introduction? Thanks again! Guest guest
For us the Ojibwa Tea increased the appetite and brought some weight gain.
