Or did you continue the OLE > for a certain amount of time? I took my #4 to the ped 3x for strep. The first time, he gave her Zithromax, the 5 day course. Strep went away but came back within a few weeks. Another rx for Zithromax, went and came back. A third time. Ped had told me the boys would get it too, because it is highly contagious. They never got it. They were on OLE at the time. So the fourth time, I decided not to take her to the ped, to get more Zithromax that did not work. I gave her OLE. I remember giving it to her for 10 days, which appeared to work fine. I did give her OLE at some later point also, to address viruses.
