Guest guest
Hi Tammy, Sorry for my delayed reply. I'm out of the country and only occasionally have access to e-mail. I have 200+ Daily Digests from my various to catch up on this week! I have not tried any sulphur based drugs or food preservatives since my life threatening reaction decades ago. Perhaps the problem is resolved now that I'm fixing my whacked biochemistry - along with my son's. Bit risky to test though since I might end up in hospital and then who would look after my kid? I also have a shellfish allergy that has put me in ER a few times. But a few months ago I tasted some soup that had shrimp sauce and I didn't have a reaction at all. So perhaps my overactive immune system is cooling off a bit? Epsom salts baths don't cause a problem because the sulphur has already been processed into sulfate, bypassing the PST enzyme and toxic sulfite stage. > > – Thanks for the great response! > > > > I myself had my first drug reaction to a sulfa drug with a one and only > bladder infection.
