Guest guest
<<Tylenol stresses the liver. Motrin is usually better.>> The active ingredient in Tylenol is acetaminophen (aka paracetamol) which needs to be metabolized by the liver. The pharmaceutical companies manufacture it from phenol molecules which are nitrated using sulfuric acid. If you are phenol sensitive or have sulfur issues it's really not the best choice of pain reliever - too much load on the PST enzymes. The metabolic processing depletes the bodys store of glutathione as well, which is usually deficient in our kids anyway. My son had a major regression in our early days of biomedical interventions. He'd had a cold and I gave him Children's Tylenol Cold to relieve his symptoms. Within hours he lost three months worth of recent developmental gains. The next day I went to a lecture given by the late founder of Brain Child Nutritionals ( Lang) and he mentioned how acetaminophen wipes out glutathione. Revelation! I spent the rest of the night glued to my computer and learned all about the chemistry of Tylenol. Next day I threw out every medicine that contained acetaminophen. For my son I use Children's Motrin if I have to (only once in the last 18 months) and my husband and I use Advil. The good news is my son re-gained his losses within a week or so. Not sure if it would have been so rapid if I hadn't started supplementing him with ReadiSorb Liposomal Glutathione by the end of the third day. Mother to 4.5 year old recovered ASD son. Guest guest
Antibiotics is often thought to cause many of the GI issues we end up having troubles with to begin with! We avoid them now and use natural and this works much better anyways. Antibiotics cause yeast, flora issues etc. Now if severe infection I would never say not to use, but avoid if able. The probiotics he is on well help counter the affects from the antibiotics though. As far as pain and discomfort, aloe vera works very well. We use the juice form, but some dont like the taste. There is pill form but we have never used and I would suspect it is highly broken down. You can mix the juice form with pureed type foods, use something like pedia sure etc. It is a natural pain reliever and has many minerals and healing ingredients. As far as sore throat, I dont know how old he is and if able to do, a warm salt water gurgle(Military remedy) well clear up throat infections. When my oldest son was younger, befor we learned what we know now, he would get throat infections over and over! They was wanting to pull his tonsils and we learned that he never would ever clear up with antibiotics due to the bacteria being in the crevesis and antiboitics dont work on that. Once we started him gargling salt water, his throat infections stopped and he still has his tonsils! Jennie<>< > > Hi > I am a little at a loss as to what to do. Guest guest
Thanks Jennie. That's exactly what I had him do, garggle with salt/water that day and the next day I picked up some pure honey and I put some with tea and " voila " he is doing great...didn't need to resort to any antibiotics or tylenol or anything else. He actually told me himself, he is fine and that he is not hurting anymore and he didn't need to see a doctor (he is 12 yrs old).....thanks for the aloe vera tip, I will keep it in mind for the next time. Guest guest
Wow.... THANK YOU SO MUCH....important information.. We are about 4-5 months into the biomedics, gfcf...and we started slow with the diet (so difficult), then slowly on my own, by reading, surfing the net, I started him with the enzymes, then the probiotics, the multivitamins, and eventually got our test results back from our DAN! and this is the first week that we have incorporated slowly but surely all the other biomedics, we still have about 4 to incorporate (including the b12 shots) to complete his custom made protocol. My son was diagnosed with moderate autism at about 6 yrs old (he is 12 yrs old now). I lost many years due to the fact that the docs, peds had installed in our heads, we had no hope...until I saw McCarthy on CNN.....saying all that, today, my son is high functioning today, and, each day is a better day, we see so many gains..hopefully he will loose his diagnosis and be one of the recovered kids....like the saying goes " it is never too late " ...my son is living proof of that. Thanks again for this importnat info... Heleni mom to Jordan, 12yrs old. and on the road to recovery amandasathome <amandasathome@...> wrote: <<Tylenol stresses the liver.
