Guest guest
How is Ruby doing? I remember you posted a while back that she was getting some speech. Are you still doing the No-Fenol? Do you think she's viral? I think that would be the next step, but fighting viruses can really bring up yeast. Good luck! -- In , " sassifrassilassi2002 " <myrubygirl@...> wrote: > > Ruby's yeast seems to be under control. She's on 25,000mcg of Biotin a > day, yes that is a lot, but she has bad yeast issues. Guest guest
She's doing really well. She has some speech and still not great with consenants, but I'm sure with speech therapy she'll improve. I've had her on OLE 500mg for a few weeks and started 1000mg of Vit C 2 weeks ago. I am waiting for Lysine to come in the mail too. Her yeast has been a real struggle, but I do think I've got in under some control right now. She's a different kid when her yeast is down. I feel like bringing back the MB12 but not sure right now. It helped her with speech so much, but I stopped it because of her yeast. I am curious about the TMG too, I started her on DMG a couple months ago and she was so irritable! So I bought the trial of TMG and want to try that. Just not sure where to go from here. Should I raise her OLE and work on viruses a bit more? Thanks for asking! > > > > Ruby's yeast seems to be under control. Guest guest
That's my plan for Dylan - try to get a handle on yeast and viruses first, then chelate him (if neccessary - I haven't gotten his hair test results back but I am suspicious of metal toxicity). The problem with viruses and chelation is that they all seem to cause an even bigger yeast problem. I think the yeast is just one of those ongoing issues. At least now you know how she is when yeast is under control and you can continue to work on other issues and fight yeast at the same time. So I guess I would say yes, continue to work on viruses and keep an eye on the yeast. I'm so glad to hear Ruby's progressing! > > > > > > Ruby's yeast seems to be under control. Guest guest
What did the yeast rash look like? My twins both have rashes on their butts that looks like red dots all over. Some days it is better but has never disappeared. They have had this since they were a year old. They will be 3 in March. Her yeast rash is almost gone. I am wanting to start her on either TMG or MB12 sublinguals with folic acid. Not sure which to try. I also want to start, zinc and lysine, but want to take things slow. Guest guest
Her rash is also little red dots on her bum cheeks and upper thighs and a bit on her upper arms. Some are white heads too. Some days they are almost gone and others they are back. It's frustrating. Another yeast die off here right now! I hate this yeast! > Ruby's yeast seems to be under control. Both, at my house, also required folic acid and carnitine. And both, for a month or so, caused yeast overgrowth, so watch for that. My son needed both for full language development. > I also want to start, zinc and lysine, but want to take things slow. Definitely best to start things one at a time.
