Guest guest
Sorry, but this is the first time I've heard of Trienza. I would love more information on it. A pill to replace the GFCF diet would be wonderful. > > Hi, > I just purchased the Trienza for my 7yo dd. The paperwork says that > it can be used in place of the gfcf diet. Guest guest
Hi We use the tri-enza, but I would recommend starting slow...1/4 to 1/2 tablet to start, then work youself up to the recommended 2 at each meal. We had die off...a little hyper, but after a couple of weeks, all was good...and the progress was great. Good Luck. Carla trienza replacing gfcf diet Hi, I just purchased the Trienza for my 7yo dd. The paperwork says that it can be used in place of the gfcf diet. I've also read that some of you are experiencing bad side effects from Trienza. I was planning on starting it today by giving 1 with dinner for a few days to see how she does with it and then adding 1 with breakfast. She's been taking Natural Wellness Center chewable enzymes with each meal. My questions are: 1) Is that a good way to start? 2) If Trienza replaces the gfcf diet, wouldn't she have to have a pill with every meal and every snack? She has 3 or 4 snacks a day. Thanks,
Guest guest
I am sooo relieved to hear this. I have been so upset by the hyperness and somewhat aggressive behavior that we have been seeing. I am thinking that maybe we are dosing too much. We have been giving 1 capsule at lunch and 1 at dinner. Do you think I should back it down to 1/2 at each meal and gradually work our way up. We are on our 8th day, so I am hoping improvement is coming. do you think it is yeast die off that is causing this reaction? Thanks so much for your post. It is such a relief to hear that this happened to someone else and than they got better because in my " gut " I felt like even with the side effects we shouldn't stop. Thanks, Tammy > > Hi > > We use the tri-enza, but I would recommend starting slow...1/4 to 1/2 tablet to start, then work youself up to the recommended 2 at each meal. Guest guest
You could cut down, but at this point, I would hold out unless it is completely unbearable! I believe that the full dose is 2 capsules a meal...once you are comfortable w/ the 1 per, I would add only 1/4 tablet at a time until you reach the full 2 caps...good luck! trienza replacing gfcf diet > > > Hi, > I just purchased the Trienza for my 7yo dd. Guest guest
Thanks Carla. We actually cut it back to 1/2 cap at everymeal and the side effects are much better. We brought it up to 1 last night as we had an infraction/party food and she was pretty hyper(could have been the cake). It was her first cake in 4 months, so overall it was worth the side effects to see her sooo happy about chocolate cake. I am going to wait a few more days to increase. Do you feel that the hyperactivity is yeast die off or just her reaction to the trienza? Thanks so much and sorry it has taken me so long to check back. It was a busy weekend. Guest guest
Hi Tammy I completely understand about busy weekends! As for the trienza, I think that it is just the normal adjustment period when starting something new. I would continue to increase her dose very slowly to minimize the effects. Good Luck! trienza replacing gfcf diet > > > > > > Hi, > > I just purchased the Trienza for my 7yo dd. The paperwork says > that > > it can be used in place of the gfcf diet.
