Guest guest
We recently ordered a sample of TMG everything went fine. Strangely, our son who only wears pants (tactile defensive) began to wear shorts daily. This was very odd as it has been nearly 3 years of pants. Anyway, the only thing we could attribute this change to was the Introduction of a better multi vitamin and the TMG. Does this even seem probable? We ordered more. Unfortuately the sample was for 175mg and our new bottles are of 500mg. After two days of wild behavior I figured it out. We stopped and have been waiting for it to clear. Two days clear, his behavior at school has been off, more stims, aggression and in general he is fired up with an inability to say what he wants to say. He seems frustrated and is highly focused on controlling his peers in a " Rescue Hero " type way. What do we do now? He takes a multi-vitamin, melatonin, candex, tri- enza, calcium, and a pro-biotic. I'm confused and don't know whether he is in withdrawal from pulling the TMG or whether he can't handle it. Any thoughts or help please? Guest guest
my 3 year old has been taking TMG for about 2.5 months now. I started her at 250mg and she screamed for a few days over little things, I attributed it to yeast. TMG can feed yeast. Sure enough after about a week she was fine. She started saying words soon after. I can't say if it was the TMG alone that got her talking, but it helped a lot. I just raised her to 500mg over the past week and she is doing things she's never done before. Tonight she came up to me with a piece of her chicken and gave it to me to eat. She never does that. She kept sharing her food with me all evening. Last night she handed a toy to my husband and said " share " , NEVER would she have done that before! So I'm thinking the increase has helped her, but just how much I'm not sure because she takes other things too. The only thing is that I raised the TMG and saw new things. I would start low and slowly work up. I would use some yeast fighters with it at first just for the yeast it might cause. > > We recently ordered a sample of TMG everything went fine. At my house, TMG did require folic acid and carnitine for proper absorption, so he may have a deficiency in those now. It also tended to increase yeast at first. If/when you try it again, divide the new product into quarters, so you don't give him the full 500mg. Dana
