Guest guest
Hi, I just got back my son's CDSA stool test results. The test was done when my son had done 30 days of Diflucan, findings are: - no yeast - beneficial bacteria - just one type: Lactobacillus spp. at 4+, but all the others are 0 (whereas his last test in march shown 4+ for Bifidobacteruium, and 2+ for E. coli spp.) - imbalance: alpha haemolytic strep at 4+, Enterobacter cloacae at 2+ (slightly better compared to March, when he had another 4 types of bacteria, Gamma strep, citrobacter amalonaticus, enterobacter gergoviae, staphylococcus aureus) - secretary IgA is worrying at <10 (ref is 51-204) - this is really, really bad because he was at a healthy 147 back in March - butyrate also bad: at 9% at 0.65 (ref is 16-39%, 0.8-3.8) - pH has shifted : now at 7 (was 6.0 in March) IN march I was giving him custom probiotic and fish oil as well as cod liver oil. Now I have dropped fish oil and cod liver oil, and for probiotic, I have recently (about 2 weeks ago) switched to VSL#3 and cuturelle. How can I raise his sIgA? put back the CLO? why is there such a dramatic drop in his sIgA? Should I put the custom probiotic back into his regime? many thanks
