I'm not very familiar with the reaction the enzymes could trigger in adults, but

i haver read they are a common effect since the body is getting rid of all the

toxins the body contains so you can say that's the cause.

With my 2 year old baby he started the enzymes and the second week we went for a

vacation. He used to wet 4 diapers a day, but with the enzymes, that second week

i had to rush to the closest walmart to buy diapers because we wetted like

double that amount (8), and i had packed more thatn the usual amount of diapers

just in case. He literally wetted the bed even with the diaper on at night. Poor

little thing, after a while he stopped peeing so much. Well, i hope that helps.

when taking digestive enzymes. My son (adult male w/autism) just starting the

Houston Trienza enzymes and he is going to the bathroom literally all day long.

If enzymes are the cause, does the frequent urination stop after a while? I

don't want to stop the enzymes, but I'm concerned with the frequency of him

going to the bathroom. Also, could this be associated w/PANDAS?

PANDAS is a neuropsychiatric disorder where the antibodies that usually fight

strep go mutant and attack the brain instead. Symptoms include OCD, tics, jerky

moments (sometimes), anxiety (especially fearing you're doing something wrong or

bad). Symptoms usually come and go depending on if the child has been exposed to

strep. Some kids have a tougher time getting rid of the tics/OCD so their

symptoms aren't quite the roller coaster of other kids.

My son has PANDAS, and we think his urination problems might have a little to do

with it, but in the absence of other symptoms mentioned above, I'd doubt it.

PANDAS is diagnosed with these clinical manifestations, plus bloodworker (ASO

and DnASE titers).

There are so many possible causes of urination problems. So hard to figure out

which is the culprit. Could be yeast, could be glucose (sugar) problems, could

be adrenal (but usually with adrenal stress, people see frequent urination, but

they when they try to go, just a few drips come out), etc. etc, etc. Right now,

we're investigating a sulfation/folate issue for my son's urination issues (he

has accidents during the day but a ton of pee at night). He has high histamine

and low cysteine, which we hope is a breakdown in a methylation process that

eventually produces glutathione. Just started a trial of TMG for that yesterday.

My urination did not stop but how long has it been that he is urinating so much?

It is a common effect when first starting, and usually ends after about 3 weeks.
