Guest guest
Can't find poll. Joanna started formula at 8 months and regressed in speech at 9 months. From: rc4_3 <rc.anderson46@...> Subject: New Poll on Powdered Formula Use Date: Saturday, July 18, 2009, 9:30 AM Hello, There have been news reports in recent years of contamination of powdered formulas. I'd like to find out how common the use of powdered formulas or other powdered products was for ASD children. If you could take the new poll that has been posted I would appreciate it. Guest guest
I think it is an interesting question, but I was thinking about our kids and one thing occurred to me: we switched to special powder formula because they were having GI problems already. There might be a lot of people in that boat, kids that switched because they were not tolerating breast milk. Those might be kids damaged before the introduction of powdered formula that might artificially inflate your numbers in this poll. So, maybe the question needs to have a clarification statement that the use of powdered formula pre-dated was not due to existing GI problems, reflux, etc. Hmm, given what we spend on food now my outrage over the cost of Nutramigen seems a bit silly. > > > Hello, > > There have been news reports in recent years of contamination of powdered formulas.
