Our son is a PANDAS kid. We had him on zithro for a year, and we did have

increased yeast problems, but it was worth the tradeoff, especially in the fall

and winter.

We have also done OLE and even Sac B seemed to have a good effect.

The magic bullet was Enhansa. It was a WOW for us. Controlled the yeast and

helped with strep. Our DAN said that she's been reading about Enhansa with

Zithro lately in the literature. It has certainly worked for us, but we had to

increase very slowly and are still not at full strength.

Three rounds of Zithromax did nothing for my #4's strep, but OLE eliminated the

strep.

Your Zithromax experience may be different.
